About the US Navy Method
The US Navy circumference method is the most accessible at-home estimation technique. It uses neck, waist (and hip for women) measurements along with height to estimate body fat. While not as precise as DEXA scans or hydrostatic weighing, it's accurate within 3–4 percentage points for most people. Measure at the same time of day, relaxed, and at the exact body landmarks for best results.
